Staring the assembly

- [Instructor] Now that we've created a number of simplified parts for our robotic arm. And we've learned some plastics and metal casting design features. Now let's all, throw this all together in a simple assembly. So a number of ways I can start my assembly, if I'm starting from my base component here, as an example. I can generate my assembly from this. I could just go to File, Make Assembly from Part, and grab a new assembly template here. And, so this will just jump me into a new assembly file from that part I was just within. So that robot base part here or RBT_BASE. Now what I like to do is, maybe turn on Graphics preview. So I can actually see where it's coming in to my 3D workspace here. Generally, for the very first part, you don't just want to throw this anywhere in 3D space. But you actually want to lock it down to the Origin. So if I turn on my Origin, 'cause I'm not seeing it right now. Now I can see my Origin there. So, I could place this directly onto my Origin. So…
