- [Instructor] Now, we're ready to incorporate simulation inside of Design Studies. Simulation is important because we want to see what the best weight to power ratio is for a specific part. Now in any situation, we really want to optimize our designs. That means we want to see the least amount of stress on our parts and the least amount of weight as well as we want it to be between certain parameters. And that's exactly what we're going to be taking a look at next. Now before we really step into Design Studies and adding variables and constraints and goals, what we want to take a look at is the actual simulation part. Because before we can add sensors or variables inside of our Design Studies, we want to be able to have a simulation study ready so that the sensor can read what that simulation study is performing.
