Segment
- [Instructor] When you're trying to split lines, arcs or splines into equal segments inside of your sketch, sometimes it's really smart to use the segment tool. Now I don't have it automatically installed on my ribbon, so I'm going to go up here to the command manager and just enter segment and hit return, and you can see here that it's the first one to come up. By selecting the show command location, it's going to go to the location where segment is inside of our sketch tools and show us where it is. So you can see here I'm in sketch tools, and it's in the second section of tools in segment. So you go ahead and click on that and it just gives you one option, it just asks what entity do you want to segment and how many segments do you want to have. so I'm going to select this line first, I want five segments, or five points rather, so one, two, three, four, five points making one, two, three, four, five, six segments.
