- [Instructor] For this week's tip I'm going to show you something actually in Windows Explorer. Now SOLIDWORKS has a bunch of different parts here, I'm looking at the Exercise Files folder for some of these tips and tricks I'm doing. One of the things that's been added to the Windows Explorer is the ability to just kind of mouse over a part and it gives you this little popup and it tells you the last open time right there in your screen. So we've got a pretty fast computer here and our models are fairly small, but you can see this one took only two seconds to open. But maybe if you're opening a very large assembly that had has a ton of parts in it, you might have something like 20 minutes or something like that or some huge amount of time and you might now want to click on that file to open it.
