Repair Sketch can be used to find overlapping entities, small gaps, and fix troubled sketches.
- [Presenter] One of the more powerful features…that you're going to want to leverage in the sketch toolbar…is going to be the Repair Sketch feature.…Now, the sketch I have here looks simple,…but it's actually a little bit more complicated.…So, I've got overlapping geometry…and somewhere in here I've also got gaps,…but it's not entirely obvious where they might be…just by selecting and clicking around.…This is a pretty simple example,…but sometimes you can have very large,…convoluted 2D geometries and it's really hard…to chase the chains or the loops…and see where breaks are.…
And, at the end of the day, sometimes you just want to…have a nice closed contour.…So, now using the Repair Sketch feature,…what this is going to do is automatically take…any overlapping geometry and remove it.…And then it's going to find any gaps…in a potential closed contour…and bring your attention to where they are…and it's going to zoom into them so you can see…where each one is on the sketch.…So, in this example, I've got some overlapping lines here…
