Refining a lofted shape with guide curves
- In this movie, we're going to go through and explain how to refine a lofted shape using some guide curves. In this example here, I've already got quite a bit of geometry laid out. I've got a starting plane here and I've got a front plane and then an end plane. On both the start plane and the end plane, I have just a single point, which is where I'm going to be starting and ending my shape. I'm going to go over here to the Loft command and under Profiles, I'm going to go ahead and choose that starting point. There it is. I'm going to go through my profile. You can see what happens, I just kind of created this little cone shape. And then my end point. And now you see that's a shape we have if we didn't do anything else to it. But now when I start adding in guide curves, that's when things start getting really interesting. Assume you grab a guide curve down here.
