- [Instructor] When taking solid geometry that you've already created, and prepping it to export as a mesh file or an .STL file, there's a couple things that you'll want to do. I've already created here a small custom mold that I'm using for a project, and I've pushed out one of the bodies into its own part. The first thing you'll want to do if you're preparing for 3D printing or anything else like that, is to start reducing sharp corners. So if you can go in and put small fillets in. This is really going to help reduce the number errors that you're going to get. Get a full preview so we can see what we're doing. Turn this up a little bit. And you can see I'm just selecting whole faces right now, trying to just quickly grab any geometry that might be an issue. Sometimes you can't just grab every face, sometimes you got to focus on specific edges. I'm also going to turn this up a little bit.
