Patterning and mirroring

- When you're working with weldments, using patterning and mirroring features can really be a huge help. Most of the time, when you're working with weldments, what you're going to be using is a lot of structural members, which are standard size building materials. Whether they're pieces of steel, pieces of wood, it doesn't really matter. Most of the time you're going to be using multiples of the same item. That is true here in this example. What I have here is where we left off from the last movie. I've got these two pieces here, which are the structural members that are lifting this truss section up here. Then I've got a truss, connecting the two. I want to add a lot of these trusses across this beam here. I don't want to keep adding each one in, and then having to add all those mates. That's a lot of extra work. And if I ever change this weldment here, I want that same piece to be in there multiple times. So any changes will be reflected in all the pieces.
