PDF and STEP file exports

- [Instructor] Now that we have finished our final assembly and assembly drawings, let's take a quick look at some exports and final outputs that are commonly used in industry. So let's say I wanted to export my assembly drawing file here. I will just navigate to the file drop down and save as, and of course here I can save as the SOLIDWORKS drawing file, the .slddrw, that's just the standard SOLIDWORKS file. But in a lot of cases I might also like to export this to some other options. So if I just hit the save as type drop down here, I get a number of different options I can use here. For example a dwg, eDrawings files can be opened on any machine for free, you don't necessarily need a SOLIDWORKS software to open it, and of course PDF is very commonly used as well. So just save this out to a PDF, and this will export or save out as a PDF file. And that will take a few seconds to export, and then I can view PDF files of my engineering drawings.
