- [Narrator] If you've watched any of my courses in the past, you know that I'm a fan of direct editing. Now, direct editing is only something that I've actually started using in the past several years. I used to always go back through the feature tree and find which features created things to solve problems. But direct editing is a quick fix. It's not the right answer for everything, because it does add some other features at the bottom of your feature tree that are kind of modifying your part. But. Hey. A lot of times you just need to solve the problem now and direct editing is amazing for this. It's also super handy for surfaces, right? So, of course it can be used as solids, as well as surfaces.
