Making a planar surface

- Planar surfaces are pretty straightforward and all we really need to do is tell SOLIDWORKS which edges we want to use to go ahead and create a surface. To get started let's go up to planar surface up here, and it's asking me for the bounding entities. You have a little q here showing you it's looking for one enclosed boundary. So I can chose this sketch right here, I can choose an edge itself and notice it chooses the automatic boundary, and just that quickly, I create a surface just using that little square or rectangle there. Then I can also come over here and do it again under planar surface, I can choose an interior edge here and fill in the holes, for instance. It's only a surface here so you look at the bottom, you can still see it's an open hole. Or if you come over here I have a bunch of surfaces here, I again can go back over to surfaces, planar surface, and I can choose individual edges here. As I go around this, notice it stars filling it in and I just chose those two…
