Looking at the path length dimension

- [Narrator] In this week's tip, I'm gonna be talking…about the path length dimension and also finding…the perimeter of a certain shape.…Now, I work a lot with laser cutting…and one of the biggest things when you're…working with laser cutting is quoting how many inches…of laser cutting you might need to do.…Now, this can be the same thing for water jet cutting…or router cutter or any, just about…any kind of cutting process.…You pretty much wanna know how many inches…we have to cut and this dimension is…pretty much gonna tell us exactly that.…So the first thing I wanna do is go up here to…Smart Dimensions and click on the drop down.…And notice I have this Path Length Dimension.…

So click on that Path Length Dimension.…And then we need to select the…Entities to create this shape.…So I'm gonna go ahead and either choose one by one…or I can just window over everything…and choose it at one time.…And notice I have a straight line…and a couple different arches…a spline here that's making that up.…And go ahead and click on okay…
