- [Justin] Hi, I'm Justin Flett, and welcome to SOLIDWORKS Composer. In this course, we'll take a look at using existing CAD designs to generate some commonly used technical documents. First, we'll learn the basics of the software and how to generate simple views that can be used within our documents. We'll then look into creating some explode views and inserting a bill of materials. Finally, we'll learn how to generate some marketing images and introduce simple animations.
In this course, we'll just take a look at a fairly simple explode animation. All of this information can then be combined to generate complex technical documentation packages to fit our specific needs, such as this assembly instruction document. By the end of this course, we will have a strong foundation of the SOLIDWORKS Composer fundamentals. Now let's get started with SOLIDWORKS Composer.
