Intersect tool
- The intersect tool allows me to use individual bodies, surfaces, and planes to create intersection bodies. And if I click on the Features tab, and go up here to Intersect, you can see here, I've already created a boss-extrude. I've got the right plane turned on and I've also created this surface that I'm going to now intersect together. To go ahead and create surface bodies, you're going to need to go up and turn on the surfaces toolbar, and we do have a course in the training library about surface creation, however, I'm not going to be covering that in this course. But I do want to point out the use of surfaces in this feature itself. So go ahead and take a look at Selections, I'm going to choose this box itself, I'm going to go ahead and choose this plane right here, and then I'm going to go ahead and choose this surface down here.
