- [Instructor] Hey, guys, if you've got the latest version of SolidWorks, SolidWorks 2019, they've made some great improvements to external references. Take a look at this example. Right here you can see, I've got a few different parts, and some of those are related to each other. And I can open up the External References dialogue box by easily coming over here and right-clicking on the Top Level Assembly, and come down here to External References. Now, they've completely redesigned this dialogue box for SolidWorks 2019. They've made it a whole lot easier to see what's going on inside of your assembly, what external references there are, and what they're linking to, and so on. You can take a look in the Status, they have in-context, you can scroll through all these different references, and what's going on here? You can Lock All, you can Break All. A whole bunch of things.
