Learn how to edit 3D sketch entities in this video. It is important to note that it is a little bit different than 2D.
- [Narrator] In the first 3D sketching video,…I mentioned that a lot of the features are the same.…Then I specifically mentioned that the trim feature was…a little bit different.…One thing that I do want to talk about…is editing these features once they exist in 3D,…it can be kind of difficult.…So, you can grab certain items…and just drag them like you typically would.…I could grab this corner and move it up and down.…But you can see things, if I move them…not quite the right way, can snap into all kinds of chaos…so you really want to limit and constrain your geometry and…3D space as you go.…
You can see this first point was automatically constrained…but you can do things like snap them along certain axes,…so if you want this to stay along particular axis,…you can snap it to it and this one, for example,…it's along the x.…Sometimes, it will give you when you select them,…for example, if I delete this, it'll tell you…with a little bit of a bold face here…that this is the one you probably wanted.…It already seems to be along the x-axis…
