Drawing the 2D structure
- Now that we have our basic shape and planes pre-laid out, what I want to do now is find the rest of my 2D sketches, to define where my vertical posts are gonna be and where my roof sections gonna be. So, to do that, first thing's first, let's click on plane number one, click normal two, and I want to start a sketch. Start the sketch right here, and then I want to come over here, and click on "convert entities." Now I'm gonna choose these different lines here, which are the footprint of the building, notice from below, and then click on "convert entities", click "okay" and that just brings those up to this sketch exactly the same. Now if these change down here at the bottom, these lines here will change as well, which is great. When you're happy with that, exit out. Then let's go back to the original sketch here, which is the sketch number four, click normal two, and I want to define some center lines, that are gonna define where the vertical posts are gonna lay.
