Direct Editing: Move/Copy Bodies

- [Narrator] In this example we're going to be taking a look at some direct editing and in this movie we're going to be using the move/copy body command. So the first thing I want to do is actually create another body that we can move around. So I'm going to use this right plane over here, start a sketch and I'm going to go ahead and just draw out a circle right out here in space, and I'm actually going to kind of put it way over here so it doesn't really align with anything at all. And let's go ahead and add a dimension, four inches look pretty good and then let's go ahead and do a boss extrude of a half of an inch. Go ahead and click on okay, and now we have two independent bodies. So what I'd like to do is move this body here into where this body is over here. And more than likely you wouldn't do that in this format, right, you'd more than likely be designing something else and then down the line you may need to move something because it was created in the wrong place.
