Custom views in drawings

- In a previous tip, I showed you how to create new views, and we did that by clicking on the dropdown here for view orientation and I've got view number one right here, and I have view number two right there. And to recap, if you want to create a brand new view just rotate your model to have whatever view you'd like in this case here I'm going to look at, I don't know, maybe like just the top surface here. That view right there. And I want to go up here and I can say, I'd like to save that as a brand new view. I'm going to call it V3, click OK. All right, so now under there I've got view one, two, three. If I click on any one of those the model will automatically rotate around to that view. Now you also have the standard views available which are always inside of SOLIDWORKS. But I want to go ahead save a drawing and use some of those views. So to do that I'm going to go up here to File, make Drawing from Part, and then…
