- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to be showing you how to create your own block and then actually use it to create a part. Here's the scenario. First things first is, I've already created this sketch. You can see there's quite a bit of detail in this sketch. If you zoom in here, I've got a whole bunch of dimensions, I've got some center lines creating this cutout. Now, this cutout is for a motherboard on a computer chassis. Now, if you want to use the same cutout multiple times, it would be great to be able to save this as a block and then use it throughout your design. Because I already had this sketch pretty much done, let's go ahead and just wrap this whole thing up and turn it into a block. To do that, go over here and select the entire sketch. I'm going to go ahead and highlight everything in the sketch, then come over here to our blocks toolbar. Make sure that's on. If you don't have it turned on, you can right-click anywhere up here, make sure Blocks is turned on…
