Convert and offset entities

- [Voiceover] In this example, I'm going to be showing you some tips on how to use the Convert Entities as well as the Offset Entities tools. My first example here is a simple spline on a front plane, and I'm gonna click on the line itself and then choose Offset Entities. Now, as soon as I do, I'm already offsetting that entity showing up here by this yellow line by .1 inches. Now I can also switch over here and go by directional, so it's going in both directions here, and now I have the option to click on Cap Ends. I can choose either arcs or lines. Let's go ahead and zoom in there and take a look, so you can see there's lines and there's arcs, and you can see by doing that I converted that line into a slot. Now I can change the width of the slot, make it bigger, make it smaller, and I also have the ability to change this center line here from my regular line into construction geometry. Go ahead and click on this box right here, and then click on OK. Now I have a nice little slot, I…
