Close sketch to model

- If you're working in a sketch environment, you can actually use model edges to close your sketches. Let me show you how it works. I'm going to go ahead and start a sketch on the top surface here. I'm going to spin that around so I'm looking normal to it. I'm going to go ahead and grab this line command here. I'm going to go ahead and just draw out a couple lines here. And I'm going to snap to this point here. Now normally you could come over here, and you'd close that in, but if you choose not to do that, now we have an open contour over here, I can use that model edge to close my sketch. Now this is a pretty simple example, but if you had a more complex edge, you could easily do that as well. I head over here, and click on Features. Click on Extrude, and notice you get this little dialog box that pops up that says "Close sketch with model edges?" and you'd say, "Yeah, let's do that." Notice this little arrow, pointing that…
