Bounding Box in assemblies

- [Instructor] New for SOLIDWORKS 2019 is the ability to create bounding boxes in assemblies. Now in the part environment, we've had this ability for a while, but I do want to recap. So if you want to add a bounding box, come up here to Reference Geometry, come down here to Bounding Box, come over here to Best Fit or Custom Plane, and click on OK and there's our bounding box. Now what's great about a bounding box is you can measure it if you'd like to. You can find some information about this bounding box. And a lot of those things happen to show up in Custom Properties. So if I come up here to Custom Properties, right over here under Configuration Specific, you can see here we actually have the information about this bounding box listed out here and you can add that to a drawing or wherever you would like to use it outside of this part.
