- [Instructor] Creating 3D curves is one of the fundamental things we're going to need to do to create surfaces, and more than likely it will be tested on the exam. So in this example here, I've got a mouse that I'm working on designing, and you can see right over here, I want to continue creating the curves for it, and I want to create a curve that's a 3D curve from the back point here over here to this other line here which goes around the outside of the mouse. And to do that I have to do a few things in preparation. Now of course, I could just jump into the 3D sketch tool and just start clicking, but it's a lot better to create some helper lines before you get started and then it'll make things a lot easier to actually build the 3D sketch once you have this.
