Using macro variables and functions in titles and footnotes - SAS Tutorial
From the course: SAS® 9.4 Cert Prep: Part 05 Analyzing and Reporting on Data
Using macro variables and functions in titles and footnotes
- [Instructor] Macro variables can be very helpful in titles. In this example code, a %let statement creates a macro variable for age that is used to subset rows in the print procedure. It would be helpful to include the filter criteria in a title so that it's clear what filter is applied to the results. You can reference the macro variable in the title to do that. Remember that you must enclose the macro variable in double quotation marks so that SAS replaces the macro variable reference with the stored text.
