Replacing character strings
- [Instructor] The TRANWRD function basically does find and replace for you. The first argument is generally a character column. The second argument is the target or the string you want to find. The third argument is the string that replaces the target. This assignment statement uses the TRANWORD function to replace all instances of lower case hurricane with storm in the summary column.
