- [Woman] In this movie, I'm going to show you how to use Excel to calculate stratum-specific estimates from the interaction models we just ran. This spreadsheet is named Stratum Specific Estimates, and it's in your exercise files for this movie. Remember when we did the linear regression interaction model? The interaction term was not statistically significant. So, technically, we should not be interpreting it. But, let's pretend it was so I can demonstrate to you how to calculate the stratum-specific estimates from the output, which you would only do if you were going to interpret it. Let's start by looking at the columns of this table I made. This collum lists the stratum. I put the reference group at the top, No Diabetes, No Smoke. Then next, I put the group that has both the characteristics, Yes Diabetes, Yes Smoke. Then underneath, I put the other two groups, they're called the Discordant Groups, because they only have one of the characteristics, and not the other. Let's go look…
