Formatting data values
- [Instructor] In SAS, formats are used to specify how data values are displayed. In this example, the format statement is used in the print procedure to display the values of height and weight with the width of three and no decimal places and the values of birth date as a two digit day, three letter month, and four digit year. Remember, when you use a format, the format name contains one period.
