- [Instructor] Now we will continue visualizing continuous variables. This time let's make box and whisker plots. You will see I opened code file 215_Box plot from your exercise files. And I have a surprise for you, a new proc. This time we are using proc SG plot instead of proc G chart as we had been using. Let's start by looking at a box plot of average hours of sleep per night. Variable slept time one, in our analytic file. So with proc SG plot, you use the V box command to get the box and whisker plot for your variable. Let's highlight and run this. And here we are. Remember our outliers, those folks who are sleeping 24 hours a day? This is not surprising, because it matches what we saw numerically in the proc univariate output for slept time one. What might be more interesting is looking at box plots of slept time one for different groups. Let's go back to our code.
