- [Instructor] As you have learned earlier in the basic configuration unit, all forms and templates can be configured through admin center. However, to meet specific business requirements of SAP customers and to enhance the solution accordingly, understanding of XML is required. The XML or Extensible Markup Language, structures, stores and transports data, unlike HTML which formats data. It has elements which content text, attributes or other elements. There are different tools which can be used to update the code such as XMLPad. Using such a tool, you can easily understand how to enhance goal plan and performance form templates. We will take an example of the goal plan template configured earlier, to see how it can be enhanced through XML.
