- [Instructor] First we open the Create Asset App and enter an asset class. In this case, I chose 3200 for computers. I've changed the number of assets being created to five and then I press enter. I enter a description for the asset, then a quantity and unit of measure. And then on the next tab, I enter the cost center. I'm going to check on the Depreciation tab to make sure I'm happy with the depreciation keys and the useful life. And then I'm going to press Save. As you can see, it tells me I'm creating five assets and asks if I want to maintain my own entries. So I'm going to select the Maintain button. I'm going to add inventory numbers. I could change more if I wanted to. But for speed, I'm only going to slightly change the description of each asset. When I'm finished, I select yes. And then I select create.
