- There's no selling, unless you have customers. In SAP business one, you add your customers and leads in the business partner module. Let's start adding, a new company to the business partner. Under modules, you will find business partners, and underneath that, you'll find business partner master data. And go ahead and click in that, And I'm going to expand this all the way up, so we can see it nicely. And you'll notice the fields are colored in yellow. This means you are in find boat, which you can confirm because the binoculars are grayed out, but right next to it is another little icon on the toolbar called add. And I'm going to click on the add and everything goes to white, and I can now add. Your first field is the code field. This is the customer ID, and must be unique for the customer.
