Publishing a project

Typically when an author finishes a RoboHelp project, they hand it off to the software developer, who then is able to get it into the hands of the users or customers. Well, one option that you have is to simply copy your WebHelp, or your FlashHelp generated layout to a Web server and then assuming that users know the Web address or the Network address of the help system start page, you would be done. The problem of course with that is that when you copy and paste output files into a final destination, is that you're going to have to replace every one of those files every time you update your help system. So a better alternative to manually copying the output files into a final location is to publish the output files to a server right from your computer. And once you publish the project, you can actually elect to republish the entire project each time you make a change, or only publish the files that are newer or different, and that's the big advantage.
