Creating and opening WebHelp projects
In the last chapter, we covered many of the basic features of RoboHelp while working with projects to be viewed in the Microsoft HTML help format. And it's a great format that generates a single help file that can be viewed on your computer using a built-in viewer. But as we continue to explore more features in this chapter, let's shift our focus to a layout that can be posted online and therefore viewed by virtually everyone on virtually any computer using a web browser like Internet Explorer on a Windows PC, or Safari on a Mac, for example. We will begin by creating a new project, so if you have any projects open, you can close them. That leaves you with the Starter. And we are going to choose a project that's going to give us a nice head start using the WebHelp layout. So we will click More, because you don't see the option we are looking for here on the Starter screen. It's Web Application Help, and when you select that and click OK and then choose a name for your project here in…
