- [David] To help you better understand where we're headed in this course, we're going to preview a completed version of the course you'll be recreating here in Rise 360. It's called Hansel & Petal Franchisee Orientation. Now, you won't have this yet, of course, so just sit back, relax, and take a look at the breakdown of a course. Clicking it opens it up for editing. And, as you can see, we have our main page here with our title, a description, and then we see lessons. Lessons have titles, and when we go to a particular lesson, like Team Recruitment, for example, you can see there are blocks. Blocks can be things like interactive flash cards, could be charts, could be text, could be graphics with text. Blocks are stacked one on top of the other, and inside a block is where you'll find the content. All right, let's go back up to the back button here, and preview the course the way our learners are going to see it. And remember, you're going to be recreating all of what you see here, as we move through the chapters and movies in this course. First of all, we see some author information, we've chosen to display that. I see my name and my image. Also the title, and then a button that is labeled bilingually with English and French. There's a details label over here, looks like the Hansel & Petal logo. We have some descriptive text, and then we see the lessons down below. Notice when we hover over the second one, we actually can't go there, we're not able to navigate freely. It has to be completed in order, so we go to Overview. That takes us to lesson one of five. You can see down on the left-hand side, in the left panel here, we can't jump from lesson to lesson. We're restricted, meaning we have to complete this lesson, and as we scroll through, you can see what's happening, this little circle is filling in gradually, until we reach the end where it's totally filled in with a check mark. Now we can go to Team Recruitment or click the navigation arrow down at the bottom. These are all options we can turn on and off. Clicking this will take us to those flash cards. Now, this is the way our user or learners are going to see our course on a desktop computer. If you want to see what it looks like on a tablet, whether it be portrait or landscape, you can select these icons at the top. With landscape we see the side panel as well as the content. When we go back to tablet portrait, we lose that side panel and have to navigate using the arrow down at the bottom to go to the next lesson. Same thing for smartphones or mobile devices. Mobile portrait and mobile landscape, both display the content without the side panel on the left-hand side. So we have arrows we can use to go back and forth through the various lessons in this course. When we're done previewing, click the Edit button to go back to editing the course, and we'll go back now to our course list, clicking the Course List button up here in the top left-hand corner where we started. Now you should have a good idea where you're headed in the upcoming chapters and movies in this course, as we recreate what you just saw.
