About the Author
Richard Colback is the founder and president of Epic States, a business intelligence, strategy, and monitoring consultancy focusing on the use of social media technologies for individuals and businesses. He has over 15 years experience in consulting with a broad range of businesses, and his prior experience includes working as a strategic consultant with Bain and Company and Booker Tate in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. He is a frequent speaker on the use of engagement technologies by businesses, and provides training and advisory support to executives within medium- and large-scale businesses to enable them to manage the integration of traditional and new media marketing. He is currently teaching courses for UCLA's Anderson School of Management and previously taught new media techniques at the University of San Francisco.
