Toolpathing the back side of the guitar body
- Though the shapes may be different, the back of the guitar body gets treated just like the front when it comes to Tool Pathing. Let's review the operations needed for features found on the flip side of the guitar. So here you can see we've got all of our Tool Paths and Simulations showing for the front, and when we flip this thing over, it'll be occupying the same territory, so it gets a little visually confusing. So my first step is to head to the Program tab and also to turn off Tool Path visibility, and then over in Layers, I'm going to return to this Flipped layer we made in a very early video in the series. Double click that to make it the default layer If a layer is titled Default, it can't be hidden. So now I can hide the original Guitar with Cavities, and I'll hide everything in Guides except for plane. We're going to use that same plane to keep our Tool Path from cutting too far down into Z territory. Okay, I can also click here on Setup to hide some of those extraneous…
