- [Instructor] In this course, we'll be working in Rhino 5 for Mac, the new OS X version of Rhino's popular hybrid 3D modeler. I'll assume you have basic comfortability working in the Rhino interface, and are familiar with using the command line, as well as creating and editing various types of NURBS geometry. If you're new to Rhino or would just like to brush up on your fundamentals, check out Up and Running with Rhino for Mac on Lynda.com, which is an intro course intended for folks with no prior Rhino experience. In the chapter Modeling Parametrically with Grasshopper, I'll also assume you have basic working knowledge of the Grasshopper plugin, as well as some familiarity with algorithmic modeling and data flow.
If you've never used Grasshopper before, I'd encourage you to check out the Lynda.com course Up and Running with Grasshopper, which will provide you with a thorough look at the ins and outs of working in the plugin. Let's go ahead and get started.
