Viewport
- [Instructor] Viewports are one of the most important parts of the interface in Rhino for Mac. They let us see what our model looks like, and also let us make visual edits using Rhino commands. In this video, we're using the exercise file navigating-viewports.3dm. Now, since your Rhino model will often be three-dimensional and the screen is only two dimensional, we usually can't see everything all at the same time. So being able to navigate the viewports effectively helps us to know what's going on in our model. And that's why it's such an important skill when working in Rhino. The default viewport setup is this four panel layout with the top, front, right, and perspective viewports all together. We often refer to these collectively as the viewport, but technically each one is its own viewport. And only one of those viewports can be active at any given time.
