Using sweep to make the shank surface
- [Voiceover] Let's take a look now at sweeping the shank surfaces. Now that we've created our bezel it's now the right time to create the shank surface. I'm gonna go ahead now and select this curve on the inside here, we'll Shift + Select this line, the outside silhouette and the cross section and from here we can go ahead and lock everything else with the lock everything else command, so the command is Control + Alt and W, or you can go into your pop-up menu and select this icon here. We wanna extend this curve bigger so it goes past this curve so we can use that as a cutter. One way to do that is you can select the curve, you can run any of these scale toggles here, just move it first then hold the Shift key so it extends in the same direction. Then from here we can take the Split tool and use this line and this line as your cutter then when you hit Enter you can just deselect whatever you want to keep and delete the outside and inside part. We can now take this inside curve and…
