Using exercise files

- [Instructor] If you're a premium member of the Lynda.com library, you'll have access to the Exercise Files used throughout this course. These files can be found in the Exercise Files tab on the main course page. The files are organized into one folder with prefixes for each chapter and video in that chapter as well as names that should pretty closely match the title of each video. Most often the Exercise Files will have the extension .3dm, and that is the native Rhino file type. You'll also see some others in there, for example the .gh, those are Grasshopper definitions, so those will be opened alongside of 3dm files when we're working in Rhino with the Grasshopper plugin activated. For the most part, each Exercise File will start off in the state that we left it at the end of the previous chapter. In a couple instances we'll have two versions of a file for a chapter, so for example, in some of the rendering chapters, we'll have 07_02-Rendering.3dm and 07_02-Rendering-Finished.3dm to show you the beginning and the end state of each file. If you don't have access to the Exercise Files, you can still follow along from scratch as I walk through each example in the videos. Let's get started.
