Unwrapping the surface to apply line art

- "[Voiceover]" Our next step is to unwrap the surface so we can apply the line art to our cuff. When we take a look at our poly surface here, we now have the ability to take this top surface here and we're going to apply texture art to it. The first thing we need to do is we need to unwrap it into our scene. We're going to go into the "Project curves" icon here and maximize it. We have an option here called the "Create UVs" command. So I'm going to go ahead and left-click on it. And before I apply the UV, the one rule you have to keep in mind is the surface needs to be completely clean. It cannot have surface break to it like you see here and it cannot contain any kinks. If you see that it is completely clean you can just simply left-click on it and when you're done just right-click and there it is. And now we can go, while it's selected and we can go and hide everything else using this icon. The next step is to go into our file and use "Import" and bring in the line art, the…
