Understanding the clipping plane and layout pages

In this next video, we'll cover two new and very cool improvements, that work great together in Rhino 5. The layout pages is the biggest and deepest improvement from the last verson, but let's start with the clipping plane. It's not a 100% new, but it's still very cool in what it can do. We're going to activate the front view here, and we access the Clip and Plane via, the Visibility tool bar. So I have a couple icons. I'll just pick the very first one to add a Clipping plane. Now we're going to make a rectangle, and I want you to remember this is an icon, so it doesn't matter exactly where it is, or how big. It's like an infinite plane of cutting. So I'm just going to make this go across somewhere easy. Now check this out. In the front view, we're having a section view. And I go into Perspective View and check out how it's affecting this side. It looks like nothing has happened. Let's Reselect the Clipping Plane and look at the properties. This is the key at how actually it works…
