Surface analysis tool: Zebra

- [Instructor] In this lesson, we look at the surface analysis tool called Zebra. This shows a reflected striped pattern similar to the way the Environment Map works. But, many modeling nerds consider the Zebra analysis a more accurate tool due to the adjustable settings. And the primary function of this command is to visually evaluate surface smoothness using a pattern reflected in the surface. Let's zoom in to these two pieces of geometry labeled Not very useful, and you'll see why just in a second. We find the Zebra command up on the Analyze menu, go down to Surface, select Zebra. We're now going to select a couple of objects. We can pick multiples, we'll right-click, and here we have the result. So we've got this flow or reflected striped environment.
