- [Narrator] Most of the example files we're work with in this course are relatively simple. But when we're working with Rhino for Mac in the real world, it's not difficult to have a file become very complicated with dozens or even hundreds of individual objects. That's why it's important to get into good organizational habits early before your files become a jumbled mess. So, let's take a look at using the Layers panel to stay organized. And to help us out I've got the exercise file layers.3dm open. Simply put, layers help us group objects apart from one another. You can think of them kind of like containers for all the different pieces in your Rhino file. They're also very similar to layers in other software programs like Photoshop or Maya. In Rhino, we can access layers through a panel in the right sidebar. And you can see the panel is kind of divided up into two main sections. We have an upper section here…
