Navigating viewports

- [Instructor] Let's explore some of the tools that help us move around inside of Rhino's viewports. In this video, we'll be using the exercise file navigating viewports.3dm The first tool we'll look at, is called the pan tool and this lets us move left to right, and up and down in any of the viewports. So, in the orthogonal viewports, I can pan by clicking and dragging with the right-mouse button on a three-button mouse. So let's try that in the top viewport. And you can see, I can drag left, right, up or down while holding down that right-mouse button. Now, if I'm on a track pad, I can scroll with two fingers and that lets me pan as well. Left, right up or down. Now in the perspective viewport, pan is almost the same, we just hold down shift. So I can shift, click and drag with the right mouse-button on a three-button mouse.
