Moving and rotating objects with the Drag and Nudge tools

In this next video, we'll review how to move and rotate objects. Does this sound boring? It's not. The ability to move and position any object or group will be a huge boost to your productivity, and helps you explore more design options. If you know how to move accurately, position objects in a scene, you can even be a little sloppy when you build stuff in the first place. Let's start off with my least favorite way to move things around. It's called the drag mode. I'm going to zoom into turtle boy's head here and just Highlight, click, and drag and move him around. So I really have no idea where he started or exactly where he ended up or if there was a distance or an angle involved, but it is a good way to clear stuff out of the way if that's your only goal. I'm going to Ctrl+Z to undo. Hit Escape to deselect. Now for this next move, we're going to go ahead and switch to ghosted mode here. And that'll allow me to see this little control point here, in the center of turtle boy's head…
