Introduction to importing into Rhino

- [Instructor] To start any scale model building project, you need base information to construct the building block pieces of your physical model. This information could come in the form of a 3D full-scale digital model of your building, 2D drafted elevations and plans, or flat JPEG images. As a model builder you'll need to have the flexibility to accept and work with many different file formats. Rhino's a great program for this because it can import and manipulate a variety of different file types. Importing is easy enough. You can either go to file import or what I usually do which is type in import to the command line. Hit enter. If you have access to the course's exercise files, you'll find the following files we'll be importing in these lessons under chapter two, importing.
