Exporting the model to KeyShot
- [Instructor] Let's go ahead now and prepare this model so we can export it into KeyShot. So, this model's already set, it's already been fileted, so the edges will come out nicely in rendering. The first thing we have to do is, if you remember in one of the notes that we wanted to do for the tip, we wanted the blade area to have a chrome finish and we wanted the rest of the tip to have a matte finish. So, to do that, we have to separate this blade from the actual body of the tip. So, what we're going to do is go to Explode and right click, so we can extract the surface. I want to make sure Copy is set to No. We're going to draw a left to right bounding box so only the blade is selected. It's your choice if you want the fillet to be chrome. I choose to have it filleted just because when it renders you see that little bit of glimmer from the lighting.
