- [Instructor] Rhino for Mac has a great set of commands called boolean operations. Which can do things like merge objects together, cut into objects, or find object intersections. And while some boolean commands can work with curves or open surfaces, the one we'll look at in this video is specific to solids. And that's generally, where I find these commands to be most useful, is working with solids. Here, I've got two sets of solid objects. So they're divide up into layers in set one. I have this array of hexagonal solids. And in set two, we've go this kind of free form. Almost like a box shape with this irregular top. So in this figure we'll take a look at the boolean union command. And this command joins groups of object together, deleting any interior intersections. Basically, what we're going for here, is one continuous shape where we will see the hexagonal solids protruding out of the free form box. But what we won't…
